As an analyst in Institutional Solutions, you will work closely with internal partners across business units to provide quantitatively driven analyses and presentations that position the North American Client Group’s (NACG) investment strategies and services in institutional client portfolios. You’ll play a critical role in thought leadership, client presentations, and other projects supporting internal initiatives related to asset allocation and investment portfolio construction.
Responsibilities
You have experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, utilizing internal and external tools and databases, and incorporating a broad knowledge of asset classes, capital markets intuition, portfolio construction analysis, etc.
You have experience in gathering and working with intricate data sets and/or tools from vendors such as Factset, Morningstar, eVestment, BarraOne, Bloomberg, etc.
You have working knowledge of programming languages (e.g. R, Python) and/or advanced skill in Excel that you have used to conduct and streamline analyses.
You excel at distilling complex topics into approachable analytics, presentations, white papers, and other materials that demonstrate a clear takeaway.
You have sound judgment and practical intuition in resolving matters of moderate complexity such as managing incomplete data sets, fact-checking data, and identifying
You consistently deliver accurate, organized, and high-quality analyses and presentation materials with tremendous attention to detail.
You exercise effective time management by prioritizing projects and delivering client analyses in a timely manner.
You have effective written and oral communication skills.
You can collaborate and develop/maintain relationships with key internal partners/stakeholders and serve as point of contact on your work.
You have 2+ years of relevant professional experience and/or have completed a graduate degree in finance or economics.
You have or will pursue the SIE, Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Advanced accreditations such as the CFA preferred but not required.
Salary and Benefits Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $96,120-$153,792
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
