Washington, D.C. Clearance Requirement:
U.S. Citizenship with eligibility for High Public Trust As a Senior Data Center Technician, you will lead operational support for Treasury’s 24x7 data center environment, ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of critical IT infrastructure. This role includes performing system health checks, conducting hardware maintenance, and resolving incidents in alignment with strict service-level agreements. You will also mentor junior technicians and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes. Salary Range:
$94,000-105,000
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct daily system checks, monitor performance, and perform scheduled hardware maintenance.
Respond to and resolve incidents per defined SLAs, coordinating with other technical teams when necessary.
Support system backup, recovery, and infrastructure patching activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and incident resolution records.
Participate in a 24x7 support rotation, including weekends and holidays.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for High Public Trust clearance.
1–8+ years of relevant IT infrastructure or data center experience.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard enterprise tools.
Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification.
ServiceNow or other ITSM platform experience.
Federal IT or large-scale enterprise infrastructure support experience.
ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent training.
