The Opportunity Successful systems projects demand more than technical know-how; they require vision. As a Systems Engineer, you bring both strategic foresight and engineering precision, guiding technical teams through every phase of the system’s lifecycle, from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders to uncover mission needs and translate insights into structured technical requirements.

Lead design with architects to build solutions meeting operational demands and drive implementation with oversight, ensuring milestones are achieved with purpose and accuracy.

Define an EMSO strategy aligned with broader mission objectives; define KPIs and performance goals; assess EMS technologies such as radar, satellite communications, and wireless systems; identify emerging threats including jamming, spoofing, and eavesdropping.

Support the full spectrum of flight test activities—from planning to execution—and guide personnel training in Electronic Warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures.

Assess current aircraft defensive systems to ensure readiness and resilience across the force.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in EW engineering

5+ years of experience with DoD Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations

3+ years of experience with DoD aircraft operations and mission execution

Ability to independently think, plan, and work at a tactical and strategic level

Top Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science

Nice If You Have

Experience with Test and Evaluation of EW systems

Excellent organizational and project management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance Top Secret clearance is required; applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Compensation Booz Allen offers a comprehensive benefits program including health, life, disability, financial and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care. Salary is determined by location and the individual’s education, knowledge, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
