Staff Quality Analyst
located in

What You'll Get To Do
Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications. Scheduling, conducting, and planning internal and external audits and establishing audit criteria.
Basic Qualification For The Staff Quality Analyst
Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience in a Quality or Engineering environment; 10 years of experience with a Master's Degree. Quality Management Systems (AS9100 or ISO9001) experience. Experience reporting mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical systems quality discrepancies. Root Cause Corrective Actions experience. Experience using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and data analysis. Experience managing data. Experience documenting evidence, writing, and updating quality procedures. Six Sigma certification or experience. Experience with process and risk based audits. US Citizenship Required Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualification
Experience testing electronic equipment. Experience working in an Aerospace environment. SAP or ERP experience. Active Clearance.
Primary Level Salary Range: $122,100.00 - $183,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
