This role is the key liaison between our Finance teams and enterprise Data Governance stakeholders, giving you visibility and influence across the organization. You will be instrumental in defining Critical Data Elements, implementing data quality controls, and ensuring SOX/GDPR/SOC 2 compliance for financial data. Key Exciting Responsibilities

Champion Data Quality: Execute data quality checks, validations, and remediation efforts for critical Finance data assets. Drive Compliance: Contribute to controls and audits for Finance data to meet other regulatory requirements. Stewards Master Data: Advocate for and steward Master Data Management (MDM), supporting Finance and other functional areas in sourcing master data. Define and Document: Lead the documentation of Finance data definitions, taxonomies, and metadata for enterprise consumption. Essential Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Finance, Data Management, or Business Intelligence. Solid understanding of Finance processes (FP&A, Accounting) and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (DOMO, Tableau, or Power BI). Experience in data quality, metadata, or master data management practices. Bonus Points For

Experience working in a formal Data Governance model or using frameworks like DCAM/DAMA-DMBOK. Familiarity with data catalog platforms (Microsoft Purview, Alation, Collibra) or MDM tools (Tamr or similar). Background in technology, construction, or transportation industries. Logistics
