Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mergers & Acquisitions specialist to join our Finance team. This role will focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other complex accounting projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in M&A from initial financial due diligence, and technical accounting matters such as non-controlling interests, joint ventures, equity method investments, and other acquisition-related topics, leading the integration of financial operations post-transaction. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with executive leadership, cross-functional teams and external partners. The individual will join the Technical Accounting team and is ideal for someone who transferred from audit to financial diligence. Responsibilities

Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite/week with flexibility for ad hoc executive-level in-person meetings. Lead the finance and accounting workstream for M&A transactions, including financial due diligence and purchase price allocation through post-acquisition integration. Conduct analysis with the support of the technical accounting team on complex issues (e.g., non-controlling interests, equity method investments) and assess impact on the company’s financial statements. Coordinate with third parties for financial due diligence as part of deal review teams. Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, treasury, tax and corporate development teams. Enhance the M&A playbook and other accounting models related to business combinations, asset acquisitions, and divestitures. Support external audit processes and ensure US GAAP compliance and adherence to internal policies, including working with valuation experts on asset and liability fair value. Partner with IT and finance transformation teams to coordinate integration of acquired entities into corporate financial systems and close processes. Monitor M&A guidance, regulatory updates, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and educate internal stakeholders. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Active CPA license strongly preferred. 3–4 years of post-college experience, including Big 4 public accounting. Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, particularly in business combinations and investment accounting. Experience in financial due diligence and M&A transactions, including post-close integration. Exposure to global transactions (cross-border M&A, foreign currency considerations, international standards) and willingness to travel (project dependent). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools; ERP integrations a strong plus. Excellent communication and project management skills; high ethical standards and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. Benefits
