Job Overview Co-Op – Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing (Emerging Technologies)
Location: Spring House, Pennsylvania, United States
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of lab experiments to support biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including cell culture, downstream processing, and formulation of drug substance.
Set up and operate small‑scale bioreactors, perform offline assays, and analyze spectral data to ensure flawless execution of experiments.
Conduct comparative experiments using PAT and other process outputs while contributing to the modeling of biochemical data for analysis and optimization.
Qualifications
Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Bioengineering (or related field).
Strong coursework background in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, or related field.
Experience with programming languages such as R, MATLAB, Python, etc., for data modeling and trend analysis.
Authorized to work permanently in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa at the time of application or in the future.
Preferred
Knowledge or experience in cell culture, chromatography, or other related processing steps in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Familiarity with spectroscopic techniques or experience with spectroscopic instrumentation.
Understanding of process modeling, scale‑up principles, or statistical analysis.
