Contracting and Acquisition Agent I Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of three (3) years of technical clerical work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Contracting and Acquisition Agent II Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of three (3) years of technical clerical work plus one (1) year of experience involving contracting and purchasing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Substitution is only allowed for the three years of technical clerical experience. Note: Experience should include the following procedures: sending out invitations to bid and making telephone bids, evaluating bids or telephone price quotes, awarding contracts and/or issuing purchase orders, working with users and understanding their needs and requirements, and assuming the responsibility for the correct evaluation and determination of bids and proposals. Contracting and Acquisition Agent III Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of three (3) years of technical clerical work plus two (2) years of experience involving contracting and purchasing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Responsibilities

Position is responsible for the coordination of agency needs with the appropriate acquisition process, including review of requisitions, statements of work, solicitations, and contracts submitted by OKDHS divisions; conducting solicitation and contract process to facilitate division needs; approval of award through issuance of purchase orders; processing contract renewals, contract modifications, and change orders; creation and maintenance of the acquisition file of record. Position requires possession or obtaining of a Certified Procurement Officer (CPO) certification within one (1) year. Position is required to meet all requirements to be issued and maintain a purchase card (P-Card) and to comply with all P-Card program requirements. Travel is required.
