Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) delivers mission-critical applications for top tier enterprises worldwide. Our cloud offers hyperscale, multitenant services deployed in more than 50 regions. OCI is expanding to include dedicated, hybrid and multi-cloud, edge computing, and more. In the Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO) organization, we support customer choice, transparency, and value for cloud infrastructure. We are building new innovative platforms, high-performance data plane primitives, frameworks to support OCI developers, and a service platform to run the full range of OCI services, including demanding, high-availability offerings. We are assembling an incubation team to initiate, prototype, and hand off projects with broad business impact in OCI. We are seeking self-motivated engineers who are passionate about solving complex software challenges, value simplicity and scale, and enjoy working in a collaborative, agile environment. Career Level – IC4 Location : This role can be based out of OCI hubs in Austin, TX; Nashville, TN; Seattle, WA; Reston, VA; or Santa Clara, CA. Responsibilities
Collaborate with multiple teams to build the next generation OCI Service Platform. Design, specify, and develop software for new projects, and perform tasks related to the design, development, and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Help define and improve standard practices and procedures; contribute to architecture and implementation of high-performance, reliable systems. Qualifications
6+ years of relevant engineering experience. Experience with software development, preferably in Java. Experience building and operating software as a service. Preferably experience with OCI. Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and scalable, reliable workflows is a plus. What We Offer
US Hiring Range: $96,800 - $223,400 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
