entry-level

Project Engineer to join our dynamic and highly collaborative land development team in

Sanford, FL . The Project Engineer I supports project management activities by providing technical and administrative support throughout the project’s lifecycle. This role involves assisting with project planning, design, and execution while gaining hands-on experience in engineering best practices and project management. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in engineering principles, has strong organizational skills, and can work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities include: Assist in developing project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. Prepare and maintain documentation such as reports, drawings, and specifications. Support the design and development of engineering solutions, including drafting and drawings. Conduct inspections and quality control to ensure high standards. Perform research and analysis to support project design and development. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Assist in preparing and evaluating proposals. Monitor projects to ensure adherence to engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements. Prepare and present progress reports on project status. Stay updated with engineering technology and industry standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar platforms. AutoCAD experience is a plus. Critical thinking and sound independent judgment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects within schedules and budgets. Flexible work schedule to meet project deadlines. Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated. Education and Experience: B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field. 0-2 years of relevant experience or internship. EI/EIT certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire. Basic knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and industry standards. Compensation & Benefits: Dependent on experience. Medical, Dental, Vision, and Long-Term Disability insurance.
