Job Description
As a MES Recipe Architect you will be responsible for the strategy and design of our clients' manufacturing execution system (MES) master recipes and associated functionality. You will become intimate with the standard functionality of our pharmaceutical MES application, PharmaSuite, and work directly with clients to optimize and convert paper recipes or migrate recipes from legacy systems. This role designs and builds master batch records and identifies improvements or requirements of custom application designs to improve overall performance. You are communicative, motivated, a subject matter expert, and excited to contribute to the growth of a critically important industry.
You will work in a hybrid environment from a Rockwell Automation office location or remotely (depending on location) and report to the Recipe Consulting Team Lead.
What You Will Do
Build partnerships at a recipe/functional requirement level with client counterparts
Learn clients’ manufacturing processes and standard process steps for pharmaceutical production, including API, Biopharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, ATMP, and related life sciences environments
Lead workshops to analyze requirements and design master recipe templates that align with client needs
Support clients during original implementations of PharmaSuite, for expansion to additional product lines, and migrating legacy master recipes
Author/configure master batch records and templates using FactoryTalk PharmaSuite; provide oversight to other recipe authors
Become conversant with client-specific customizations based on project assignments
Define and analyze recipe requirements through client interviews and develop detailed designs
Collaborate with clients for coordination, change management, and application knowledge of recipes
Direct creation, testing, and validation of master recipes and templates, updating MBRs with standard quality requirements
Adhere to client and internal quality methodologies and procedures
The Essentials - You Will Have
Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field

8+ years of professional experience producing technical/functional work product
Experience designing master recipes
Experience working in life science manufacturing
8+ years of MES experience
Experience with Electronic Batch Record (EBR) systems
Knowledge of S88/S95 models
Ability to quickly understand PharmaSuite and client requirements
Comfort with advanced computer applications (PharmaSuite and related applications)

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $127,680 - $191,520 with an annual target bonus of 8% of base salary. Actual pay will be based on skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
