R-23323Job Description**Job Title: Sr Technical Support Specialist - Gas Ops****Location:** Orange, CT (60 Marsh Hill Rd)**Work type:** OfficeThe salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from **$61,732** to **$77,165.****Job Summary**Use full range of administrative and technical knowledge and experience to assist and support management in meeting the objectives and responsibilities of the Division and to assist the team to achieve and exceed established goals. Organize, compile, summarize and analyze data/statistics and produce a variety of reports. Update, maintain and ensure accuracy of computerized and other data. Perform mathematical calculations and manipulate statistical data. Maintain confidentiality of all written documents and sensitive discussions.**Responsibilities:*** Utilizing SAP create all necessary documentation for the complete, accurate, and timely purchase and payment of goods and services for the Construction and Engineering groups.* Independently prepare and review all documentation for the purchase of goods and services.* Reviews documentation for accuracy, and researches and resolves complex issues and discrepancies, and proactively monitors workflows in SAP.* Key liaison for both internal and external customers, Procurement, and the Purchasing groups.* Accurately develop and maintain electronic databases, spreadsheets and files that are critical to the day-to-day operations of the Meter Services & Construction groups.* Enter and retrieve information requested to assist in budgetary and regulatory filings.* Run reports and queries that are required for budgetary and regulatory filings.* Prepares, records, and reconcile all financial accruals for the Meter Services and Construction group with minimal supervision.* Prepare and assemble documentation required for State and Local billing on Meter Services and Construction projects.* Handle customer inquiries. This includes resolving invoice/payment issues with suppliers and UIL personnel.**Required Qualifications:**Education & Experience Required:* Requires 6 or more years of business-related experience with an Associate's degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline OR requires 8 or more years of business-related experience with a High School Diploma/GED.* Must have knowledge of business math and accounting principles.* Working knowledge of personal computer applications such as Microsoft Office, SAP, Lotus Notes, and HOD.* Familiarity with database applications is required.* Experience with some advanced software applications may be required.* Ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) with all levels of management and non-management employees.* Ability to effectively and accurately organize large quantities of critical information that affect multiple constituencies.* Ability to interact professionally with coworkers, management, other Divisions, and organizations outside of UIL, including customers.* Ability to utilize analysis and presentation tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.* Demonstrated interpersonal skills and working as a team member.**Behavioral Competencies:**• Develop self & others• Empower to grow• Collaborate and share• Be a role model• Focus to achieve results• Be agile#LI-NB1
