Commit to learning, following, and practicing INEOS 20 Principles of Process & Behavioral Safety as applicable to the position. Ensure the safety of employees and contractors through compliance with OSHA standards, ANSI standards, INEOS policies and procedures, and other safety regulations, standards, and guidelines. Develop programs to reduce work-related illnesses and injuries and improve operations productivity, contributing to the protection of employees. Develop and revise policies and programs to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and staff. Plan and organize objectives and long-range safety and security programs and coordinate S&S efforts and activities. Provide guidance for Safety Specialists to ensure alignment on safety throughout the organization. Oversee all aspects of the Safety and Security department including organization, staffing, budget, training, emergency response, personnel, and related matters. Assist in developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and programs (e.g., PSM, LOTO, confined space, hot work, PPE, hazard communication). Administer SHE programs including inspections and testing/monitoring of equipment (fire extinguishers, SCBA, fall protection, etc.). Deliver safety training for employees, contractors, and new hires. Champion safety culture improvement efforts, including injury-reduction programs, employee engagement, and risk awareness. Serve as a plant resource for practices and analysis/resolution of industrial safety and security issues. Oversee contractor safety program and lead Contractor Safety Team; lead site safety committee. Maintain effectiveness of site policies and critical life processes (lockout/tagout, confined space entry, hot work, fall protection). Develop and maintain site safety procedures; deliver safety and security training as needed. Participate in project reviews and provide field safety consultation as needed. Oversee Industrial Hygiene programs and compliance with contract support. Security

Serve as Facility Security Officer (FSO), ensure MTSA compliance, and maintain the site TWIC program. Provide strategies and solutions to address risk exposures. Manage security systems vendor selections, performance, and escalation protocols. Interface with community and government agencies on Emergency Response and Security issues, including serving as site contact with US Coast Guard, local police, and other agencies. Serve as FSO to secure the entire property, including trespass control, nuisance animal control, and fencing integrity. Conduct security audits/inspections and develop/maintain facility security plan. Maintain relationships with community officials, regulatory agencies, and industrial committees; represent the site as needed. Responsible for site security contractor management. Develop and submit routine reports on safety, emergency response, and security activities and statistics. Required Profile

Level of Education & Knowledge

BS degree required (preferred Occupational Safety and Health or related 4-year technical degree). Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing safety, or related chemical plant experience. Certified Safety Professional is preferred. Security experience preferred. Experience & Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations; familiarity with PSM desired. Working knowledge of Industrial Hygiene practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret regulations, technical documents, and Safety Data Sheets. Ability to establish programs; field audit experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with EHS management system software. Competencies & Behavioral Skills
