Our Charlotte studio is looking for an experienced Architect Level III to help lead design execution, mentor junior staff, and champion projects from concept through construction. What You’ll Do
As an Architect Level III, you will lead technical execution and coordination across all project phases. You’ll serve as a key contributor to both project delivery and team development—balancing creative problem-solving with practical leadership.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
8+ years of professional experience in architecture. Registered Architect (RA) required. Strong proficiency in Revit; working knowledge of visualization tools (SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Suite). Expertise in construction documentation, detailing, and coordination. Ability to lead and mentor team members across disciplines and experience levels. Solid knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and technical standards. Experience in public, education, or healthcare architecture preferred. Residency or willingness to relocate to Charlotte, NC.
Daily Responsibilities
Lead the production and coordination of design and construction documents. Manage technical collaboration with consultants, contractors, and clients. Conduct code research, quality control, and document reviews. Guide project planning, design implementation, and documentation strategies. Represent Novus during meetings, presentations, and site visits. Oversee construction administration including RFIs, submittals, and punch lists. Support the growth and development of junior team members. Ensure adherence to firm standards and project milestones.
