The Applications Analyst II gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments, and develops functional specifications and builds to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives. This level works with minimal supervision and acts as a resource for Applications Analyst I. In this position, you will be working on the implementation and support of the WorkDay Student system. Experience in healthcare, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), data integration and API management, and business applications such as Starta, Kainos, Agiloft, WorkDay, KABA, etc., and experience in Workday, ETL processing and third-party integrations with ERP are strongly preferred. This role is responsible for the administration, support, maintenance, and enhancement of core business applications such as Agiloft (CLM), STRATA (financial planning), KABA (clocks), Kainos (testing automation and audits), GHX, Image Now (Hyland), and more. This position is mostly onsite (4 days a week, Monday-Thursday) in the Edison, NJ office. Responsibilities Mentor and share knowledge with Applications Analyst I. Install/upgrade applications and components, configure settings, and validate work performed by Applications Analyst I. Coordinate end-user support activities. Participate in meetings and provide go-live support for new applications, modules, and functionality. Analyze and coordinate necessary application modifications with IT staff and vendors. Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements; translate user requirements into system specifications. Create test plans and test new systems, version upgrades, and modifications; document test outcomes. Lead application implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support. Communicate findings and recommendations to project teams and other departments. Address moderately complex issues and escalate more complex items as needed. Update system, operational, and department documentation; identify opportunities for process improvements. Provide on-call support for applications. Perform other related duties as needed. Lift up to 20 lbs., push/pull up to 20 lbs., and stand for extended periods as required. Qualifications Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years of IT experience and/or 2 years of clinical experience. Solid working knowledge of the subject matter and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong desktop skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook). Effective oral and written communication; ability to create and maintain clear documentation. Collaborates effectively with team members across the department and demonstrates self-direction. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Bachelor’s degree. Healthcare experience or related field. Licenses and Certifications Required: Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or equivalent experience with relevant applications.
