We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Subrogation Adjuster to join our dynamic team. As a Subrogation Adjuster, you will investigate and recover losses from responsible parties on behalf of our clients, analyze complex situations, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful subrogation outcomes. Responsibilities:
Investigate and evaluate insurance claims to determine liability and subrogation potential. Analyze policy language, contracts, and relevant laws to assess subrogation rights and recovery opportunities. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including policyholders, legal professionals, and other insurance carriers, to gather essential information and documentation. Review reports, photos, statements, and other evidence to build a comprehensive case for subrogation. Communicate effectively with all involved parties to negotiate settlements and ensure a fair and timely resolution. Maintain accurate records of claim activities, correspondence, and recovery efforts. Utilize claims management systems and software to document and track progress. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and legal developments impacting subrogation efforts. Assist in developing strategies and best practices to enhance subrogation outcomes and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service to policyholders and stakeholders throughout the process. Collaborate with internal departments and handle special projects related to subrogation as required. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is a plus. Prior experience in subrogation, insurance claims, or related fields is preferred. Strong knowledge of insurance policies, contracts, and legal regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective negotiation and communication abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in interactions. Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude.
