Family Law Firm Seeks Talented Attorney (Hybrid / Path to Partnership)

Base pay range: $100,000 - $180,000 per year

Location: Richland, WA (remote accepted but must be within commuting distance)

Responsibilities

Represent clients in legal proceedings, draft legal documents, advise on family law matters.

Handle caseload involving child custody, matrimonial issues, domestic abuse, child support, annulment.

Negotiate settlements in the best interest of the client.

Conduct thorough case research and investigation to identify legal issues and develop strategies.

Work closely with clients to ensure they are fully informed of rights and options, guiding through legal process.

Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure prompt and professional case handling.

Stay updated on changes in family law and inform clients of any changes affecting their case.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Minimum 2 years of litigation experience.

Member in good standing with Washington State Bar.

Proven track record of representing clients in family law cases with successful outcomes.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.

Strong negotiation skills to resolve disputes beneficially to client.

Excellent organizational skills; manage large caseload and multiple deadlines.

Strong sense of compassion and empathy for clients in difficult family situations.

Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
