RAD TECH II - IP role at CommonSpirit Health. Responsibilities
Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision to technical detail.
Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
Assume responsibility for specific radiographic procedures such as angiography or cardiac catheter procedures, CT or MRI procedures, and/or mammography procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Diagnostic technologist with 2 years of work experience in diagnostic radiology and competence in one additional modality (CT, MRI, Angio, Cardiac Cath, Ultrasound, or Mammography).
Or: Diagnostic technologist with 5 years of work experience in diagnostic radiology.
Must demonstrate competence in all diagnostic fluoroscopic and surgical radiography procedures.
Registered ARRT
CRT Certification
Current CPR-AHA Certification
Special Skills
Working knowledge of all basic and special diagnostic imaging equipment.
Knowledge of departmental protocols and procedures.
Ability to work tactfully and effectively with staff, physicians, and patients.
Effective oral and written communication.
Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to assist in training and teaching of students and new staff.
Ability to fill in for the department Supervisor as needed.
Pay Range $49.27 - $58.13 /hour
