Responsible for effective implementation of the quality system. Work closely with all company departments and processes to ensure continuity in Company quality objectives. YOUR IMPACT
Coordinate all product quality activities at all Pierce facilities to ensure customer expectations are met. Direct and manage the implementation of the quality system. Develop systems to provide consistent testing to meet company objectives and improve customer satisfaction. Coordinate statistical methods used in manufacturing and operation processes. Lead and innovate new concepts in statistical usage. Help determine the adequacy and accuracy of quality standards. Manage the adequacy of inspection and test equipment. Supervise and promote quality activities in manufacturing and operation functions. Assure that new product reviews are performed on all new major products. Coordinate product problem resolution relative to design, specifications, tooling, materials, methods, and production operations. Work with Purchasing on development and execution of Quality Supplier Program. Manage the Warranty Program to ensure quality concerns are addressed and dealer/customer satisfaction is achieved. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field 4-plus years of relevant experience Standout Qualifications
Training and/or experience with Six-Sigma problem-solving methodology Previous experience with CAD system(s) Good understanding of processes and process flows Ability to work in a team environment with various skill sets within the organization Self-starter able to drive a “sense of urgency” WHY PIERCE?
