We are seeking an entry-level

Directional Drill Crew Laborer

to join our team in

Boise, ID . In this role you will assist our underground drill teams to complete assigned projects working around both standard and high-risk areas with live utilities. Why TAK

Assists drill operators and locators with equipment to complete assigned projects Will work in and around both standard and high-risk areas with live utilities Will learn about utility depths and placements Ensures vehicles, equipment and tools are properly maintained, in good repair and secured in a safe manner Reviews field designs and work with drill team to communicate discrepancies to supervisor for change orders Properly documents all work completed to include pothole and bore logs Will learn and assist with conduit splicing, vault/pedestal placement and fiber/coax placement as needed Completes general restoration and cleanup Completes all projects with safety as the #1 priority, ensuring compliance with internal safety standards and all governmental orders Other duties as assigned Requirements

Underground telecommunications construction or installation experience preferred but not required Ability to travel daily, out of state as needed, with company provided accommodations and per diems Ability to work outside of business hours when needed, overtime, holidays, evenings, weekends etc., in all seasons Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills High level of energy, motivation and attention to detail Ability to multi-task, shifting from one task to another without interruption Ability to work with a noise level from moderate to loud Ability to lift and carry up to 70lbs as needed Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces or elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing in all weather conditions year round Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving Class A CDL ideal but not required Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) Equal Opportunity Employer
