The Front Desk Night Auditor
is the overnight face of the resort. This position ensures smooth overnight operations at the front desk, assists guests with late-night needs, and performs essential auditing tasks to reconcile the day’s financial transactions. This role is suitable for someone dependable, customer-service focused, and comfortable working independently in a quiet overnight environment. Schedule
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (full-time). Weekend and holiday availability is required. Opportunity to pick up occasional day shifts is available if desired. What You’ll Do
Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Serve as the primary contact for guest needs during overnight hours. Respond to emergency situations and coordinate with relevant departments as needed. Provide resort information and recommendations to enhance the guest experience. Audit & Administrative Tasks
Complete nightly audit of all daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy of guest folios. Prepare daily summary reports for management and accounting. Post charges and payments to guest accounts. Balance and reconcile front desk cash drawer and credit card transactions. Monitor room availability and manage overnight reservations or walk-ins. Operations & Safety
Maintain a clean, secure, and welcoming front desk and lobby area. Conduct nightly property walks and ensure security measures are in place. Follow all company procedures and maintain accurate records of overnight incidents or issues. Requirements
A dependable night owl who thrives in a quiet, independent work environment. Approachable, courteous, and calm under pressure. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Able to handle sensitive guest situations with discretion and professionalism. Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or night audit strongly preferred. Experience using Property Management Systems (e.g., Maestro, Opera, etc.). Comfortable working overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency with computers and ability to learn property management systems. Strong communication and basic math/accounting skills. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Why Chetola
