Position Overview As an Associate (or Senior Associate, depending on experience), you will play a pivotal role in advancing real estate credit investments. Your focus will be on analyzing and executing transactions to achieve strong risk‑adjusted returns, while collaborating with the team to manage complex assets across diverse property types and capital structures. This role dedicates approximately 75% of time to Investments/Acquisitions and 25% to Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate real estate investment opportunities across the capital stack, with a strong emphasis on underwriting multifamily and residential condominium construction financing opportunities.
Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for asset‑level transactions.
Prepare Screening and Investment Committee Memoranda, highlighting deal strengths, key financial metrics, risks, mitigants, and supporting market data.
Perform in‑depth project‑level underwriting and market research to inform decision‑making.
Collaborate with brokers, legal counsel, market participants, and third‑party vendors to streamline transactions and operational processes.
Qualifications
3–4 years of relevant experience in at least one of the following:
Real estate private equity acquisitions and development.
Investment banking with advanced financial modeling expertise.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a STEM‑related field.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, team‑focused approach.
Superior organizational and process management abilities, including the capacity to juggle multiple projects while keeping stakeholders engaged.
Solid grasp of real estate finance and investment fundamentals.
Proven underwriting expertise with multifamily and residential condominium development projects in major markets like New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and San Francisco—including navigating entitlements, assessing PILOTs and other incentives, analyzing construction budgets, and conducting sales/rent comparable evaluations.
Advanced financial modeling and underwriting skills: Your models should be clear, efficient, logically structured, and user‑friendly for team collaboration.
Exceptional written communication: Produce concise, well‑organized materials that convey complex ideas effectively.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle shifting priorities in a dynamic environment while consistently meeting deadlines.
