In the role of Electrical Design Coordinator, you'll be responsible for: Performing assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of electrical engineering techniques and procedures. Working directly with owners to develop recommendations. Reviewing electrical documents for conflicts with other disciplines. Writing/editing electrical specifications, selecting equipment and electrical devices. Taking on contract administration responsibilities, including field inspections and conflict resolution. Making decisions on significant design and engineering features as needed. Functioning as a Project Manager on small and mid-size projects as needed, though project management is not the principal focus of this position. Supervising work of Electrical CAD Technicians and coordinating design efforts with architectural staff and other engineering disciplines. Performing other duties as required. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of 'Coordinator' and are expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or consulting firm. 2+ years of experience designing electrical lighting, power, and systems for building projects; EIT certification. Interest in sustainable design/LEED is desirable but not required. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis. Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration. Strong skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power. Commitment to our employee-owned culture and active participation. Our Values and Commitment
