Also, has responsibility for the Maintenance of Wastewater, and Hazardous Waste systems and supporting EHS, as required, with the operations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Responsible for the safe, continuous, efficient operation of the Utilities, HVAC, Wastewater\*, Hazardous Waste\* area:

+ Develop, revise and/or approve area operational procedures.

+ Ensure the proper and safe operation of the area.

+ Inspect equipment and systems installations.

+ Ensure area compliance with local, corporate, insurance companies and regulatory agencies requirements and codes.

+ Knowledge in GMP, environmental, health and safety procedures to assure regulatory, policies and/or guidelines compliance.

+ Keeps updated with the engineering changing technology. The person may be assigned to support special projects.

+ Ensure Energy cost is within Budget parameters.*\*Maintenance only as Operations is EHS responsibility.** Responsible for the administration of Utilities, HVAC, area within established policies, procedures and regulations:

+ Provides management guidance to Utilities, HVAC, Wastewater, Hazardous Waste area and personnel.

+ Personnel development with formal or on-the-job training.

+ Maintain a good employee morale and favorable labor/management relationship.

+ Approve and recommends promotions and/or disciplinary actions as needed.

+ Ensure area process and safety compliance.

+ Identify Utilities, HVAC, Wastewater, Hazardous Waste infrastructure and maintenance needs and refer through available site systems to insure completion (work orders and/or capital investments).

+ Utilize Reliability resource to evaluate methods to improve effectiveness of Utilities, HVAC, Wastewater, Hazardous Waste area .

+ Active participation as a Core Team member of the Site Reliability Master Plan.

+ Develop proposal for Utilities equipment replacement plan.

+ Implement and Support Planning & Scheduling process for the execution of corrective and preventive maintenance activities.

+ Assists in directing, controlling and/or implementation of capital projects. Also, support the introduction of products and/or capital projects during design, construction, commissioning, validation and/or start-up for operational aspect.

+ Oversee IFM Utilities Maintenance and Repair Group.

+ Drive Energy Conservation targets for the site.

+ Implement leans tools as applicable to develop a continuous improvement high performing organization.

+ Responsible for area costs control:

+ Prepare and implement modifications on area following applicable C & Q procedures.Education:* Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Master’s degree in engineering is desirable.Experience/Knowledge:* At least five (10) years of experience in High power related equipment, utilities equipment, Energy Program Management, HVAC Maintenance and/or water processing (potable, USP and waste).* Knowledge of FDA, OSHA and or EPA regulations applicable to the pharmaceutical industry.* Strong Managerial or Supervisory experience in Utilities Operations.
