a Mac Endpoint Engineer
for a world‑leading technology organization in the Raleigh, NC area. The Mac Endpoint Engineer will have a strong background in macOS endpoint management, Jamf, and scripting, with experience supporting CMMC‑compliant environments being a major plus. This role is hybrid onsite in Raleigh, NC and candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
Configure, deploy, and manage macOS devices using MDM platforms such as Jamf Pro, Intune, or Kandji
Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, AppleScript) for device provisioning, patching, and compliance
Monitor endpoint health, performance, and security using EDR and monitoring tools
Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to enforce policies like disk encryption, firewall settings, and software restrictions
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on macOS devices
Integrate macOS endpoints with identity providers (e.g., Okta, Azure AD) and enterprise tools (e.g., ServiceNow, CrowdStrike)
Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides
Stay current with Apple ecosystem updates, security advisories, and best practices
Requirements
4+ years of experience supporting macOS in enterprise environments
Hands‑on experience with Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager
Strong scripting experience (e.g., Bash, Python, AppleScript)
Familiarity with endpoint protection tools and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST)
Understanding of CMMC compliance is a major plus
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Ability to work onsite in Raleigh, NC on a hybrid schedule
Compensation
$115,000–$133,000 annually
Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and sick leave as required by law
