Overview

Network Engineer (Levels 2, 3) for Transport & Cybersecurity Services (TCS). TS/SCI clearance required. Full-time, travel up to 50%. Openings in multiple locations: Denver, CO / Miami, FL / Springfield, VA / St. Louis, MO. This role supports a National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) GEOINT mission on a long-term prime contract. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. What you’ll do and where you’ll work are focused on designing, implementing, operating, and sustaining NGA networks and improving cybersecurity posture across WAN, LAN, and CAN environments, within multiple security domains. Coordinate system maintenance, monitoring, and installation of multiple WAN/LAN environments across various platforms and technologies. Research and implement enterprise network solutions to support customer goals and objectives. Troubleshoot and resolve network media and components. Evaluate health and performance of the network, including hardware and management software. Develop and maintain a roadmap for capabilities, operations, and technologies. Assist with the development and execution of test plans and documentation for network configuration upgrades for customer approval. Support network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization to meet performance and availability objectives. Evaluate and report on new/emerging network technologies to enhance capacity, performance, and reliability. Recommend changes and upgrades to address performance, standardization, and best practices. Follow all Customer network security processes and procedures; ensure compliance with Government policies. Represent customer requirements in technical exchanges with other government agencies. Perform site surveys for new installations and technology refresh. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot satellite communications equipment. Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams. Your Qualifications

TS/SCI (current) and ability to pass/maintain a U.S. Government Polygraph (post-hire). BA/BS degree with typically 4-10 years of network and transport experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. DoD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II compliant. Skills & Technologies

DoD Architecture Framework and other key DoD network architecture/planning guidance. Juniper devices (switches, routers, firewalls) and cryptographic devices (KG-175G/X, KG-245A/X). Network analysis tools (HP/Micro Focus Network Automation, Network Node Manager, Juniper Secure Analytics, Infoblox, Riverbed). Juniper SRX firewall/VPN equipment; support for IP services to NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS (IPv4, IPv6, VPN, QoS, SDN, SNMP, VOIP, VTC, etc.). OSPF, BGP, MPLS, RSVP/LDP L2/L3 VPNs, VRFs, IKE/IPSec, GRE tunnels, MTU, FTP, Import/Export policies. Nice-to-Have Qualifications

JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP, CISCO CCNP/CCVP/CCNA/CDDP or equivalent. ITIL v3 Foundations. ISC2 CISSP. Note: This position is contingent on funding and may be filled on a rolling basis.
