In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary engineers focused on designing and delivering Re‑entry Vehicles for the Targets and Countermeasures Program (TCP). As an Engineer, you will work with a diverse workforce responsible for the development, design, fabrication, testing, and delivery of hardware.
Job Responsibilities
Generate and maintain models which simulate mechanical loading conditions and vehicle separation events
Perform loads development (primary structure and component level)
Determine vehicle and component shock and vibration environments
Perform structural dynamic analyses for re‑entry vehicles
Support component and system level testing and data evaluation
Prepare test plans for static, separation dynamics, vibration, modal and shock test execution, and post‑test reports
Support dynamic test definitions, requirements development, test monitoring, data reduction, and comparison to analysis efforts
