Beaver Dam, WI (Mostly onsite with 10% travel to vendor FATs & sister sites)
Salary Range:
$90,000–$130,000 annually

The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced SCADA Project Engineer to take full ownership of AVEVA System Platform integration on one of the most advanced data center programs in the world.
What You’ll Do
Design and integrate AVEVA System Platform, Historian, and OMI dashboards for high‑reliability BMS/SCADA systems.
Review I/O schedules, P&IDs, and network topologies for SCADA compatibility; generate RFIs and design clarifications.
Configure AVEVA objects, tags, alarming, redundancy, and HMI visualization; manage PLC data exchange (Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet IP, OPC UA, MQTT).
Coordinate network design and cybersecurity with IT/OT teams (VLANs, firewalls, IEC 62443 hardening).
Plan and execute FAT/SAT, point‑to‑point, and integrated testing; lead turnover and documentation.
Serve as primary SCADA technical contact for the client, field teams, and subcontractors.
Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to Thermo’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Identify opportunities for add‑scope work and support pricing and proposal input.
What You Bring
Education:
B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Controls Engineering (or equivalent field experience).
Experience:
4+ years delivering industrial SCADA systems, including 2+ years leading AVEVA System Platform projects.
Technical:
Skilled in PLC integration (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider) and industrial networking.
Bonus Points:
AVEVA Certified Developer credential; exposure to PI System, Insight, Predictive Analytics, or digital twin environments.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communicator, problem solver, and collaborator who thrives in fast‑paced environments and works effectively onsite.
Work Authorization & Requirements
Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located.
Maintain a valid driver’s license.
Must be fit for duty at all times.
