Commercial Lines Account Manager
to their Acentria team in Brandon, Florida.
Job Summary
Support producers in developing and servicing accounts. Provide clients with exceptional service during the policy year, ensuring successful renewal marketing. Support agency business objectives and be viewed as a positive role model and team player. Marketing of new and renewal business is a significant aspect of this role.
Essential Functions
Market new business as assigned by the producer
Review and analyze information provided by the producer; gather additional information from clients/prospects; make independent recommendations on coverages and exposures; prepare applications according to agency standards; submit to carriers and negotiate placements
Prepare proposals
Work independently with Producers on risk placement
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers through daily service of endorsements and coverage questions
Use independent judgment to develop solutions for client needs
Competencies & Qualifications
Strong organizational, multitasking, motivational, problem-solving, detail-oriented, verbal, written, and self-discipline skills
Proficiency in insurance agency management software (EPIC) and Microsoft Office preferred
Education & Experience
Florida 2-20 or insurance license required
College degree or equivalent work experience
2-3+ years agency experience in the field
