Audit Staff Accountant
to join our Columbia-based Assurance team. In this role, you’ll provide audit and attestation services to a variety of clients, build valuable relationships, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Perform audit and attestation services across a range of industries Work closely with team members to meet project goals and deadlines Contribute to a collaborative team environment that prioritizes client service Build lasting client relationships and identify additional service needs Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality deliverables Participate in networking, civic, and professional development activities Continuously build technical knowledge and develop business acumen Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA license or active CPA candidate (required) 1–2 years of recent public accounting experience, with a focus on audit Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Limited overnight travel required At MBW, you’re not just launching a career—you’re building a future with a firm that values your voice, supports your goals, and celebrates your success.
