Overview

Senior Pricing Analyst position with Leidos National Security Sector (NSS). This role focuses on developing competitive, compliant, and winning proposals, and contributes to pricing, estimating, and cost volume activities as an integral member of the NSS pricing team. The candidate should be detail‑oriented, capable of problem solving, able to multi‑task, and thrive in a deadline‑driven environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in teams are essential. Location: Reston, VA with onsite support for classified proposals in Reston, VA and Chantilly, VA. Primary Responsibilities

Lead cost volume development, including narrative writing, creation of cost exhibits, and financial documentation to ensure all customer submittals are compliant with internal, federal, and solicitation requirements. Lead proposal cost volume teams through collaboration with contracts, subcontracts & procurement, capture management, finance, and technical estimators to produce a fully compliant, complete, and awardable cost proposal. Participate in proposal development and compliance meetings (pricing strategy discussions, price‑to‑win and risk reviews, bid/no‑bid decisions, and compliance reviews). Develop detailed pricing models to provide analysis and create final customer deliverables using advanced Excel skills. Prepare pricing files in accordance with company policies and RFP instructions; participate in cost and pricing peer reviews of customer pricing submittals, cost volume narratives, and supporting pricing files. Mentor and train less experienced professional employees. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in cost volume development, government contracting and pricing analysis. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience in all aspects of government proposal development, pricing strategy, government contracting and an understanding of various contract types (Cost‑Plus, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, GSA Schedules, etc.). Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR, CAS, DCMA/DCAA and government finance principles and basic estimating methodologies. Ability to support pricing and narrative development through the full lifecycle of the proposal process; some evening and weekend work may occasionally be required. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and pricing tools and templates; excellent Excel skills to build pricing models using lookups and pivot tables and handle large datasets. Strong internal and external customer focus with professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication with attention to detail and ability to multi‑task in a deadline‑driven environment. U.S. Citizenship is required; ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance. Preferred Qualifications

Current Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred. Advanced degree/certification (MBA, NCMA, ICEAA, etc.) is a plus. Deltek ProPricer experience is highly desirable. Experience with commercial business models and international proposals.
