Position Summary
The Fiberglass Mold Building Technician works in an elite climate controlled R&D facility that specializes in pattern and mold building. This position is responsible for artistically and accurately creating patterns for fiberglass and plastic parts, boat hulls, boat decks, seat shells, liners and other parts relating to the development of recreational product. In addition to making and modify prototypes for design development and validation. Essential Functions
Uses proven and new methods to make high quality patterns, plugs, molds, jigs and fixtures. Makes changes to existing molds and parts to update and improve as instructed by management. Uses precise measuring equipment such as laser aligners, levels, dividers, calipers, squares, graduated cylinders and gram scales. Assists other functions as assigned: engineering, production, warranty, mold fabrication and boat test. Works in a manner that is safe to self and others. Keeps work area safe, clean and hazard free. Works in a productive manner, maintaining a high degree of accuracy, and the efficient use of time and effort. All other duties as assigned. Experience/Qualifications
Experience with chopper gun and gel coat application preferred. Travel Requirements

Regular walking, standing, lifting up to 50lbs, bending, stooping, working with hands, etc. Independent Judgement
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems.
