Cardiac Monitor Tech for Emory University Hospital , responsible for being a capable technician who cares about the quality of their work and ensuring the safety for all patients. This Individual Will
Observes, interprets, and records the telemetry recordings for monitored patients. May monitor alarms where applicable. Delivers and applies telemetry boxes to patients. Ensures correct patient is being monitored. Reports significant observations of cardiac rhythms and other alarm information to the health care team. Communicates pertinent information to patients as necessary. Produces accurate and complete documentation. Complies with handoff communication process. Performs other related duties as required. Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent. Certified rhythm analyst technician (CRAT) preferred. Successful completion of an approved arrhythmia course preferred or successfully passing an arrhythmia exam on hire. Additional Details
