Position: Litigation Paralegal (Permanent) Role: Support defense civil litigation; perform legal research, document preparation, and management of complex litigation cases. Requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and provide insightful recommendations. Prepare and manage a wide array of legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, affidavits, subpoenas, and legal briefs. Assist in the management of all phases of litigation, from investigation, pleadings, and discovery through the pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes. Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and external legal counsel to gather and analyze information pertinent to the case. Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system. Keep track of case timelines and ensure all deadlines are met. Attend legal proceedings such as depositions, hearings, and trials. Stay informed about current legislation, regulations, and legal articles relevant to the industry. Qualifications
A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in defense civil litigation. Trial experience is required. A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. Paralegal certification is a plus. Proficient in legal research and documentation, with a keen eye for detail. Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures, court rules, and e-filing requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in the use of legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. High level of professionalism and confidentiality. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. Ability to travel as needed Equal Opportunity
