The Public Defender’s Office in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, is seeking an Attorney (Assistant Public Defender) to handle a caseload. The office has a mission to provide legal counsel to those who cannot afford an attorney when appointed by the Court. Responsibilities
The attorney will manage a caseload and represent clients in criminal proceedings. As part of training and professional development, attorneys belong to the Florida Public Defender Association (FPDA), receive paid travel to continuing education seminars hosted by the FPDA, and earn CLE credits. Qualifications
Preference given to members in good standing of The Florida Bar. Florida Bar membership preferred. Benefits and Work Environment
