Looking for an experienced Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) and/or Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) to work in a very dynamic high tempo environment to deliver Mission First results! The successful candidate will develop, implement, administer and lead a Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program team, develop and implement SAP/SCI security policies and procedures for classified materials, documents, and equipment, and possess SME level understanding of applicable security regulations. Responsibilities
Develop, implement, administer and lead a SAP/SCI program team and related security policies and procedures for classified materials, documents, and equipment. Understand and establish procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and granting personnel and visitor access to restricted programs. Develop and conduct security education and training programs for SAP and SCI. Investigate security violations and prepare reports with preventive actions. Support RMS Special Programs at multiple locations and act as the main point of contact with stakeholders and the Customer. Lead a diverse team to ensure all SAP/SCI requirements are met. Administer the SAP Nomination Process (processing, logging, and preparing incoming/outgoing SAP Nomination packages). Administer the SCI Nomination Process (processing, logging, and preparing incoming/outgoing SCI Nomination packages). Conduct annual SETA requirements, provide foreign travel briefings, and handle reporting requirements. Classified document control, including maintenance of logs and tracking documents in transition. Program asset tracking, tagging of assets, and updating asset information in SIMS. Administrative Security functions such as organizing and filing security paperwork. Maintain end of day logs, safe checks, visitor logs, and pass down logs. Process and track incoming and outgoing Visit Authorization Requests. Provide security escorting for uncleared personnel as required. Write, implement, and administer multiple DD254s across multiple contracts and programs. Perform COMSEC requirements for Special Programs. Assist the Lead CSSM with additional security support as required by the RMS Special Programs Manager and/or the Customer. Basic Qualifications
Active TS clearance with Investigation or CV date within 5 years, or eligibility to reinstate a TS clearance with Investigation or CV date within 5 years, and the ability to obtain and maintain SAP/SCI access(es). Minimum of 8 years’ experience leading SAP and SCI program teams. SME level understanding of industrial security regulations and procedures, including 32 C.F.R. Part 117 (NISPOM), DOD 5205.07 SAP Security Manuals, and DOD 5105.21 SCI Manuals. Self-starter able to work independently and contribute in a team environment. Successful completion of the CDSE Mid-Level Management Course within 1 year of employment. Full professional proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desired Skills
Successful completion of the CDSE SAP Mid-Level Management Course (preferred or within 1 year of employment). Self-starter with ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. Proven track record of effective communication skills. Considered SME for DoD Manuals. Proven track record of meeting compliant inspection marks. Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level:
