Faculty - College of Science and Mathematics Rowan University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in Psychology for undergraduate and graduate courses. We have a strong preference and need for faculty who can teach classes in person, although applicants may be invited to teach either in person or online as needs arise. If you are only interested in and available for teaching online, please see our ad recruiting for online instructors for additional application details. We offer courses on our main campus in Glassboro and also on campuses in Camden, Burlington and Gloucester Counties. Most classes run Monday through Friday throughout the day into the evening, depending on the program. Please indicate your preferred campus(es) and general availability for in person teaching in your cover letter. The applicants must be committed to excellence in the teaching of psychology. The Psychology Department offers a range of graduate and undergraduate programs including a BA in Psychology (with online and in-person degree opportunities), a BS in Psychological Science, and a minor in Psychology. The Psychology Department also offers MA degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis, a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and is launching a graduate program in Human Factors. In addition to these, we offer several certificate programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Interested individuals must have at least a master’s degree. The Psychology Department will accept applications throughout the year. When a teaching vacancy arises, we will consider the submitted applications in an effort to staff the course.
