$20.00 to $27.00 Schedule:

Night shift. 6PM to 6AM. Every other weekend off. Description Performs repairs and general maintenance on plant equipment as directed by Crew Leader, Supervisor, or Manager, for Watco Companies LLC, while following all safety rules and site-specific procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reads and understands parts books and determines parts needed and work procedures Troubleshoots and repairs equipment Moves machinery and equipment as needed to check out and repair Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment Diagnoses problems and makes repairs to equipment and assets, including dismantling, assembling, and installing parts Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices on equipment, making adjustments as necessary Operates a variety of tools/equipment such as cutting torch, welder, forklift, hand tools, and power tools Lubricates moving parts and operates repaired equipment to verify conformance to specifications As directed, performs activities of co-workers Other duties as assigned Requisitions and controls spare parts inventory Competencies, Skills, and Abilities Must be willing and able to work at heights above ground Must be willing to work shift and/or overtime hours, including after dark hours, weekends, and holidays as dictated by operations Responds to emergency call-outs to perform maintenance duties Demonstrates aptitude to execute and maintain necessary records Regular work attendance is required Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules Ability to carry out supervision/direction and work effectively and cooperatively with others Must be able to work with minimal direct supervision Must possess a general understanding of corporate policies, procedures, practices, and processes related to material handling Treats people with respect, keeps commitments, inspires trust, works with integrity and ethically, upholding organizational values Prioritizes and plans work activities using time efficiently, plans for additional resources, organizes schedules of others and their tasks, and develops realistic action plans Ability to communicate effectively Recommends measures to improve equipment performance and quality of product handling Physical Demands Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, including heights above 5 feet, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, uneven terrain, and high noise levels Required to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods Communicates with supervision and co-workers via radio Must wear FRC clothing Regularly lifts and/or moves a minimum of 50 pounds Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience/Specific Knowledge Must have basic knowledge of general mechanics Must possess at least one of the following skill sets: Welding, Electrical, Hydraulics, Fabrication, Mobile equipment mechanics Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license Job level commensurate with experience and skill sets The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and complete a background check after an offer has been extended and prior to employment
