Certified Athletic Trainer
to join our team and help carry out our mission of supporting student growth—physically, emotionally, and socially—through a vibrant and competitive athletic program.
As a vital part of Wolverine Athletics, this full-time, 12-month position works closely with the Head Athletic Trainer to deliver daily sports medicine services to our Middle and Upper School athletic programs, covering 22 sports from 5th to 12th grade.
Responsibilities
Provide expert care in the
prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation
of athletic injuries.
Serve as a trusted
liaison between physicians, coaches, parents, and school staff , maintaining full compliance with HIPAA.
Maintain
detailed documentation
on injury evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
Support coverage for
home and away competitions , especially varsity football and state tournament events.
Lead
baseline and post-injury concussion testing
and oversee athlete physical documentation.
Collaborate with strength coaches, athletic administrators, and medical professionals to keep our athletes at their best.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree and BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
NATABOC Certification
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia
Preferred candidates
2–5 years of experience in a school or sports medicine setting
A Master’s degree and/or AHA CPR Instructor Certification
