The Drinking Water & Wastewater Engineer will plan, direct, and monitor technical aspects of complex drinking water and wastewater design projects. In this role, you'll: Perform complex assignments, exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of engineering techniques and procedures. Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures. Function as a technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects. Coordinate staffing and workload to ensure timely project completion. Supervise small teams of professionals and technicians as needed. Implement QA/QC procedures and train personnel accordingly. Participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance. Perform additional duties as required. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Alaska Native Villages or Indigenous communities. At least 3 years of experience designing water and wastewater projects. Familiarity with rural logistics and procurement challenges. #LI-JM8 Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Experience designing water and wastewater projects with plans and specifications. Professional engineering license recognized in the position's location (e.g., PE, P.Eng). Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams. Committed to our employee-owned culture.
