Overview
A Fabrication Technician is responsible for assembling products in accordance with detailed drawings, specifications, and job orders. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret dimensional drawings and bill of materials. The technician will utilize various hand and power tools, including band saws, drill presses, and pipe benders, to accurately complete fabrication tasks. Adherence to work instructions and standard operating procedures is essential to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output, with a keen attention to detail throughout the fabrication process. Read and understand dimensional drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and job order requirements. Assemble products according to drawing specifications. Operate various hand and power tools and equipment, such as band saws, drill presses, and pipe benders. Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures to organize workflow. Qualifications
Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and job orders. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including band saws, drill presses, and pipe benders. Ability to follow work instructions and SOPs effectively. Strong attention to detail.
