Current Basic Oregon DPSST certification or equivalent Completion of a Field Training Program At least one year of full-time experience as a Police Officer or Deputy within the last 12 months Refer to the Deputy Classification Specification for additional licenses, physical abilities, and requirements. Must pass a background check, possess a valid driver's license, and have an acceptable driving record. Application Process
