Brief Summary of Work for this Position The Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics and Information Systems at the University of North Carolina Wilmington is seeking a nine‑month lecturer starting on August 1 2026. The appointment is initially limited to one year, but renewal is anticipated upon review. The successful candidate is expected to teach eight sections combined in the fall and spring semesters. Service expectations include academic advising, curriculum development, promotion of department programs, and participation in outreach activities, including engagement with advisory board members and participation in career events.

Responsibilities – Teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses that support the department's programs and advise students of business analytics programs offered.
– Provide academic advising, participate in curriculum development, and support department outreach and promotion activities.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Master's degree in Business Analytics/Operations Research/Quantitative Methods or a related area from a nationally accredited university.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Ph.D. or Doctorate in Business Analytics or Operations Research or a related field.
Experience in developing and implementing curricula related to business analytics.
Proficient in face‑to‑face and online teaching for undergraduate and graduate students.
Experience establishing recruitment relationships with industry.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with constituents across the school, college, and university.
Eligibility for Employment Final candidates are subject to criminal & sex offender background checks. Some vacancies also require credit or motor vehicle checks.
