Position Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Specialist in Mont Belvieu, TX. You will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities and more.

Role As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations, deter security-related incidents, and provide a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do

Use our scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed

Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues

Observe and report unusual activity or conditions that may impact operations at the utilities location

Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, observations, and incidents

Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed

Support Allied Universal leadership by following instructions and contributing to a secure environment

What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located

A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles

High school diploma or equivalent

Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws

Qualified applications with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable laws

Drug screen as permitted by law

Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only
