The Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at North Carolina State University invites applications for a full-time postdoctoral research associate to work with Dr. Joe Sagues in the area of anaerobic digestion. Collaborate with faculty, research staff, and graduate students; contribute to the development of methodologies and dissemination of results. Qualifications
PhD in chemical engineering, biological engineering, agricultural engineering, environmental engineering, or a closely related field. Demonstrated research experience in anaerobic digestion. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with organic waste characterization, organic waste bioprocessing, and operation/maintenance of bioreactors. Ability to work effectively within a diverse, interdisciplinary team across academia, industry, and national laboratories. Work Details
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with early mornings, evenings and weekends as research needs require. Licensing
