Job Summary

Reports to Food & Beverage Director. Supervises FOH team, lead bartender, bar supervisor, bartenders, cocktail servers, and barbacks. The Beverage Director manages the beverage program for the restaurant and Banquets & Catering departments.

Responsibilities Ensure total guest satisfaction and deliver the finest quality of food and beverage.

Provide the highest and most efficient level of service expected by guests.

Hold team to 21c service standards.

Roll up sleeves and actively maintain high standards.

Constantly seek improvement for self, team, and service delivery.

Engage with guests and teammates while on the floor to promote beverage program awareness and sales.

Cultivate a following of regulars and stay aware of market trends, creative ideas, and new products.

Maintain a strong floor presence and be present with the team as staffing levels demand.

Create total awareness of in‑house VIPs and review names with staff during pre‑service meetings.

Oversee FOH F&B (events included) staffing responsibilities.

Collaborate with F&B & AF&B Directors to post beverage teammate positions and refresh as needed.

Screen applicants and schedule initial interviews with the F&B management team.

Approve hires for restaurant bar positions in collaboration with the F&B & AF&B Directors.

Assist new hires with completion of hiring paperwork and beverage training schedule.

Own restaurant bar + lounge team schedules and maintain beverage training compliance.

Develop and administer property alcohol policies within state, municipality, and 21c guidelines.

Track and ensure teammate alcohol license compliance where applicable.

Coach employees on efficient teamwork and enforce proper dress guidelines.

Serve as teacher, trainer, developer and administer beverage training policies and systems.

Maintain beverage service protocols, standards, and operational systems and integrate them into training systems.

Implement beverage team‑building activities and meetings and create rewards/contests.

Ensure all beverage training, policies, systems, product, and menu information are built and maintained within MISEbox for all teammates.

Implement beverage systems and procedures that set the business and employees up for success.

Manage beverage procurement, inventory, and financial responsibilities, including general ledger and profit & loss statements.

Act as Bevager (beverage management system) administrator and work with the 21c F&B Operations team to maintain compliance with all 21c and Ennismore brand partnerships.

Identify ways to operate more efficiently, cut costs, and drive revenue.

Marketing & Operations Work with Brand/Marketing to develop content for the beverage program across media channels.

Collaborate with F&B, Sales, and Marketing Leadership to concept, curate, plan, and execute specialty beverage and culinary events.

Be comfortable on camera and in media interviews.

Curate, manage, and maintain all beverage menus, including restaurant cocktails, wine list, beer list, and event bar menus.

Lead development, maintenance, and evolution of beverage programming and brand integrity with 21c F&B Operations Team and AF&B Directors.

Work with F&B & AF&B Directors and Marketing Manager to identify efficiencies that cut costs and drive revenue.

Select and maintain beverage glassware, tools, and equipment in accordance with 21c brand standards.

Consult and assist on beverage related options in hotel operations as needed.

Maintain continuity of all beverage items between guest‑facing menus, POS, Bevager, and educational platform (MISEbox).

Assume and execute all responsibilities of the restaurant manager position.

Communicate all beverage responsibilities to all proper entities in a timely and thorough manner.

General Work on time and ready for scheduled shift.

Maintain a positive, friendly attitude with teammates and guests.

Maintain a clean, orderly appearance of self and all F&B operations areas.

Assist/execute any tasks assigned by the F&B Director and Assistant F&B Director.

Embrace new ideas and quickly adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.

Identify and seek solutions for problem areas.

Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and NA beverage.

Competent with Windows‑based computers, Microsoft Office, and familiar with industry‑standard software.

Demonstrate enthusiasm for all things 21c.

Must pass a background check.

Education & Experience Some college education.

Two to four years in a high‑volume, high‑quality restaurant operation.

Minimum one year management/supervisory experience.

Qualifications Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and NA beverage.

Competent with Windows‑based computers, Microsoft Office, and familiar with industry‑standard software.

Demonstrate enthusiasm for all things 21c.

Must pass a background check.
