1.00 Position Summary:
This job is a Camp Counselor in the Georgia 4-H Summer camping program, located at one of five 4-H Facilities across the state. Counselors will create a safe and fun environment for campers to participate in experiential learning and recreational opportunities, primarily in an outdoor, natural setting. Counselors also plan and produce entertainment opportunities for campers and work to coordinate these activities with UGA Cooperative Extension and other Center staff. Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:
American Red Cross Lifeguard certification, CPR certification and AED certification or willingness to obtain. Physical Demands:
This is a highly rigorous position with physical activities including but not limited to daily walking of three to four miles. This position is mostly outdoors in the extreme heat of June and July for extended periods of time. Is this a Position of Trust?:
