Church & Dwight Co., Inc. , Harrisonville, MO facility. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state and local environmental, health, and safety programs. The EHS Manager will oversee the completion of all environmental and safety training programs for applicable employees, oversee the accident protection and prevention program, and recommend corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Responsibilities

Maintains a working knowledge of Church & Dwight environmental & safety regulations and standards. Maintains a working knowledge of all applicable environmental, safety, and health regulations including OSHA, EPA, Local Department of Natural Resources, DOT, PHMSA. Serves as liaison for governmental agencies during audits and inspections. Leads corrective actions from governmental agency audits/inspections as well as corporate EHS audits. Reports all EHS metrics to Corporate ESO. Manages all environmental, safety, and health program updates and management. Maintains environmental permits including SWPPP, Air Permit, Waste Water Discharge. Oversees the implementation of all environmental programs. Ensures appropriate environmental and safety training is completed, including new employees. Ensures effective safety committees. Oversees the reporting of labor hours and injury/illness information. Oversees coordination of Right to Know information for all employees. Establishes the facilities first aid and emergency response capabilities. Monitors effectiveness of procedures for correcting hazardous conditions and work practices. Works with department supervision to conduct accident investigations in a thorough and timely manner. Responsible for workers’ compensation claims management. Conducts frequent plant safety inspections and observes workers for safe and unsafe behaviors. Implements the security program including the visitor management system. Coordinates the management of the business continuity program. Ensures compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. Participates in and champions LEAN activities. Other duties as required by Church & Dwight Co., Inc. Education, Training, and Experience

5-10 years of experience in a similar capacity within a manufacturing environment. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Safety Sciences, Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering or Health & Safety. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Professional certifications in EHS-related fields (e.g., CIH, ASP, CHMM, CSP) are beneficial. Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization (verbal and written). Ability to work under time constraints and be results-driven. Strong organizational skills and ability to classify and structure information, problem solving, team building and planning. Understanding of federal and state environmental regulations and OSHA standards; able to apply to a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of workers’ compensation guidelines and procedures. Working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
