Overview
Radiography Technologist I - 24 Hours, part-time at Boston Medical Center (BMC). The Radiologic Technologist provides skilled clinical support under general supervision of Technical Group Leadership and Chief Technologist Operations, working on assigned campus locations and implementing department policies and procedures. Responsibilities
Perform radiologic procedures as a technologist on assigned campus (East Newton or Harrison Avenue) in accordance with department policies and procedures. Collaborate with staff, Chief Technologist, Operations Manager, and Radiology Administration Director to implement policies and ensure quality patient care. Qualifications
Completion of two years post-high school training in an approved school of Radiologic Technology. State license required and all applicable radiology education requirements. RTR and ARRT certification required. 1-4 years' experience preferred. Knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology practices and the operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients, provide instruction, and supervise staff technologists. Employment details
