Designing and synthesis of lipid molecules independently. Designing, implementing, and managing high standards of laboratory safety. Researching relevant scientific literature and chemical database. Reporting and presenting R&D discoveries. Education and Experience Ph.D. in organic chemistry or chemical biology; or M.S. with 1-3 years of relevant R&D experience. Experience with analytical techniques such as NMR, LC-MS, HPLC etc. Solid knowledge in synthetic organic chemistry Lipid synthesis & characterization would be beneficial Required Skills/Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. outgoing, open-minded person and able to motivate a team to go the extra mile.
